The market rate for public WiFi access in downtowns and uptowns, strip malls and shopping centers, and most other places people drink coffee in the United States -- which is to say, a large fraction of America's populated surface -- is about to drop to zero. Starbucks announced Monday that starting July 1, it will no longer charge for WiFi Internet access in its U.S. coffee shops.

Guitarist Ally McErlaine set to tour with Texas again after recovering from aneurysm

TEXAS guitarist Ally McErlaine is set to complete a miracle recovery by touring with the Scots group.

The band have been on hold for the past two years as singer Sharleen Spiteri pursued a solo career - but a new tour and album are looming.

Band members were shocked when they were told Ally was fighting for his life in January after suffering an aneurysm.

It was unclear if he would ever pull through - and doctors suspected he would never be able to play guitar again.

But Ally, 41, has battled back and amazed medics with the completeness and speed of his recovery.

In recent weeks, Ally has been appearing live with wife Shelly Poole, a star with indie band Alicia's Attic, in new band Red Sky July.

It was announced this week that hugely successful Texas will record a new album, which will be supported by a big tour early next year.

Adolf Hitler's homosexuality has been demonstrated beyond question by German historian Lothar Machtan's massively researched new book, The Hidden Hitler, which shows homosexuality's central role in Hitler's personal life.

But the crucial role within the Nazi movement of the most vicious and lawless types of homosexuality, which Machtan also shows, is even more important than Hitler's personal preference. In 1933, six months after Hitler took power, the distinguished Jewish author Ludwig Lewisohn described what Machtan confirms, that "the entire [Nazi] movement is in fact and by certain aspects of its avowed ideology drenched through and through with homoerotic feeling and practice." And those homosexual currents inextricably were connected with vicious German militarism long before the Nazis.
